Gracie Baby

I can't believe this little nugget is one!

Somehow 16 months have gone by since my last post. Wowza! For journaling purposes I will try and update the last year, and who knows maybe I will even keep up on current events. Don't hold your breath though.

Grace has been such a ray of sunshine in our lives. She is the sweetest, snuggliest baby. When she was born Cade really wanted to her name to be Grace because he wanted a calm sister (as opposed to the two crazy sisters he already had). She is definitely a calm, sweet girl.

Andelin's Birthday

Andelin turned 6 on July 30.  It was Cade's turn to have a friend party this year so we took Andelin and a couple of friends to see the American Girl movie.  Andelin got a new bike from mom and dad,  and an electric moped from her friend Adi.  Adi got a new one so she was nice enough to pass her old one down to Andelin.  She looks pretty cute tearing down the neighborhood on it.  

I made the girls matching skirts, they were so excited they had to do ring around the rosies!

Our New Boat!!!

We bought in with a partner (our friends the Jensen's) on a boat at the end of this summer.  We have had so much fun getting as much boating in as we could before the weather turned cold.   Cade and Andelin are at such fun ages, they both have been waterskiing and Cade has gotten really good at wake boarding.  Corby's wake boarding skills have also improved so much!  It is fun to watch them, I will be joining in on the water fun next summer when I don't have such a big belly! 

First Day of School

Here are Cade and Andelin on their first day of School.  Cade is in third grade with Mrs. Normandeau as his teacher and Andelin is in First grade with Mrs. Smith as her teacher.

Cade had a big birthday this year, he turned 8 on July 28th.  He had a race car themed birthday.  Corby made him a race track on the patio and all the kids at his birthday party were given remote control cars to race.  They had a great time racing each other.  The day after his birthday, Cade had his first cub scout meeting.  He was so excited!  Then to top it all off he was baptized on August 3.   He also had his first violin recital on August 14, he did such a great job.  He didn't even look nervous.   We are so proud of our little guy!
